For couples who believe their marriage is worth preparing for

The Vows You Write Today Matter Tomorrow

Pippa and Eric Plantenberg help engaged couples write Three Dimensional Vows and build the foundation their marriage deserves — before the wedding day.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

Most couples spend more time planning their wedding than preparing for their marriage.

Vows written the night before. Language borrowed from the internet. Something that sounds nice when said but never gets opened again.

Year one and year two after the wedding are brutally hard for so many couples. Not because they stopped loving each other. Because nobody built the foundation first.

The couples who do this work before the wedding have something real to come back to when life gets hard. Words they wrote together that still mean something years later.

About Pippa and Eric

We got obsessed with one question.

Pippa and Eric Plantenberg together, warm and candid

What actually makes a marriage work? Not a good marriage. Not a marriage that survives. A marriage that is genuinely alive.

Between us we have 55 years of marriage experience. Not all of it easy. We have both been through marriages that fell apart. We know what the hard seasons look like from the inside. We know what it costs when a marriage does not have a real foundation.

That experience is not something we are ashamed of. It is exactly why we are qualified to do this work.

When we decided to get married, we knew we wanted to do it differently. We did not want to write our vows separately and surprise each other about the marriage we wanted. We wanted to build something real together before the wedding day.

That process did not exist. So we created it.

The Framework

We ended up calling it Three Dimensional Vows.

Most couples write their vows separately, borrow language from the internet, and walk down the aisle without ever really discussing what their marriage is going to look like.

Three Dimensional Vows is different. It starts with the idea that your vows are not something you create from scratch. They already exist inside your relationship. The framework helps you find them — together — and turn them into commitments that hold up long after the wedding day.

It is the same framework we use with every couple we work with privately. And it starts before the vows. It starts with the marriage.

From Couples Like You

This is what it looks like when couples do the work.

Working with Pippa and Eric completely shifted our focal point of the wedding and what it means to get married. The vows that came out of it have been so foundational to the way we have moved through our marriage and our lives that we still repeat them to this day.

Bri and Connor

I sing their praise to so many people and tell them it should be mandatory by federal law that if you are getting married you need to go through this process. There is nothing like it on the planet.
